Psychiatry Patient and Family Centered Care Fund

Patient and family-centered care is an approach to planning, delivering, and evaluating care that is built on mutually beneficial partnerships. The Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) brings together patients, family members and care team members to collaborate in sustaining and advancing this model of care.

Your gift directly supports the Institute of Psychiatry’s programs and initiatives, including efforts to enhance patient-care partnerships, provider and staff training, improvements to the physical hospital environment and the development of health care policies and procedures.

PFAC members actively make recommendations for improving the culture of patient and family-centered care. These funds help implement their valuable suggestions, further strengthening the care experience for patients and families.
