The MUSC Department of Orthopedics is dedicated to providing personalized care in 12 areas:
- General orthopedics
- Adult spine surgery
- Foot and ankle surgery
- Hand, wrist and microvascular surgery
- Hip and knee replacement and arthritis
- Orthopedic oncology
- Orthopedic trauma
- Pediatric orthopedics
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Shoulder and elbow services
- Sports medicine (including arthroscopy)
As part of an academic medical center, our mission is to provide superb clinical care to our patients, educate the next generation of orthopedic surgeons and expand the orthopedic knowledge base through basic, clinical and translational research.
